Toyota has launched the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition in India.
The ex-showroom price is Rs 36.51 lakh for the 4×2 manual and Rs 38.72 lakh for the 4×2 automatic.
Bookings open on October 12.
The edition adds cosmetic changes and ambient lighting, with no mechanical changes.
It is available only in 4×2 and in three colours.
Toyota launched the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition in India this weekend, according to reports dated October 10 and 11, 2026.
The ex-showroom price is Rs 36.51 lakh for the 4×2 manual and Rs 38.72 lakh for the 4×2 automatic, a gap of Rs 2.21 lakh, according to Autocar India and CarWale.
Bookings open on October 12, and buyers can book through Toyota’s website and authorised dealers, according to Business Today.
The edition is available only in 4×2, and four-wheel drive is not offered, according to CarWale.
Unlike the 2024 and 2025 editions, the 2026 Leader Edition was introduced by Toyota itself and not by dealers, according to CarWale.
The cabin gets dual-tone black and maroon upholstery with matching door trims, according to CarWale.
It also has auto-folding outside mirrors and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Ambient lighting is the only notable addition over the 2025 Leader Edition, along with illuminated scuff plates, according to CarWale.
The exterior gets a different front grille, a black roof, black rear door garnish, body side mouldings and an exclusive hood emblem.
It also gets gloss black alloy wheels with matching hub caps and a black antenna.
The colours are Super White, Platinum White Pearl and Attitude Black, and the Silver Metallic shade of older editions has been dropped.
There are no mechanical changes, according to CarWale.
The 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel makes 201 hp, with 500 Nm of torque with the automatic and 420 Nm with the manual.
DriveSpark reported a standard three-year or 1,00,000 km warranty, extendable, with five years of complimentary roadside assistance.
