Pakistan closed day two of the first Test against West Indies at 199 for 3, trailing by 112 runs, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
Opener Shan Masood remained unbeaten on 88 off 137 balls with 11 fours, having added 155 runs alongside Imam-ul-Haq, who scored 63.
The start to Pakistan’s reply was rocky, with opener Azan Awais dismissed for a nine-ball duck, bowled by Kemar Roach.
At stumps, Salman Ali Agha was at the crease on nought off 9 balls alongside Masood.
West Indies had posted 311 in their first innings, with Mohammad Ali claiming four wickets for the Pakistan attack.
Pakistan resume their innings on day three still needing to close the 112-run gap.
