India’s Mirabai Chanu took silver with a total of 198kg.
The event was held on September 23 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Ri Song-gum is the reigning world champion and two-time defending Asian Games champion in the category.
It is Chanu’s first Asian Games medal.
It is India’s first Asian Games weightlifting medal in 28 years.
Chanu lifted a total of 198kg, made up of 87kg in snatch and 111kg in clean and jerk.
The event was held at the Nagoya City Trade and Industry Center in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
It is Chanu’s first Asian Games medal, though she is a Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medallist.
