Spider-Man: Brand New Day saw a 35.3% jump in collections on its third day in India, earning Rs 66.75 crore and pushing its net total past the Rs 150 crore mark, trade tracker Sacnilk said on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
The three-day India net collection now stands at Rs 176.70 crore, with the gross figure at Rs 211.27 crore.
The film ran across 17,703 shows on Saturday, with overall occupancy of 69.67%, rising to 76.67% for night shows and 75.56% in the evening slot.
The English version brought in Rs 38.35 crore of the day’s total, while the Hindi version contributed Rs 21.75 crore, showing continued strength across both versions.
A rise in collections on the first Saturday is uncommon for major releases, which usually see numbers dip a little after the opening day before recovering over the weekend.
Attention now shifts to Sunday’s collections, seen as the clearest early indicator of how the film will hold up through its first fortnight in Indian cinemas.

Multiplex chains in metro cities including Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru reported strong evening and night show attendance through the opening weekend, according to trade reports tracking the release.
