In a heartwarming display of dedication to women’s empowerment, Kaushalya UK, under the visionary leadership of Ritu Sharma, has launched a pioneering project in Guwahati, Assam, India. Rajni Shah, the representative of Kaushalya UK, has been instrumental in implementing this initiative, aimed at equipping women with the skills and resources necessary to break free from the shackles of dependency.
Runu Dev, a beneficiary of this project, has been provided with comprehensive training in stitching, enabling her to acquire a valuable skill set. In a significant milestone, a hand machine was delivered to Runu Dev on 29th July 2024, marking the beginning of her journey towards self-employment.
This empowering initiative is designed to help Runu Dev become financially independent, enabling her to support her family in every possible way. By providing her with the means to earn a steady income, Kaushalya UK is not only transforming her life but also contributing to the betterment of her community.
The Women Empowerment Project in Guwahati is a shining example of Kaushalya UK’s commitment to creating a more equitable society, where women are empowered to reach their full potential. As we celebrate this success story, we look forward to many more women benefiting from this initiative, leading to a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
