Confirmed: Motorola will launch the Signature 27 in India, as announced at India Mobile Congress 2026.

Reported specs: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 6.8-inch display, a 200MP periscope camera and Android 17.

Reported by one outlet: a 6,000mAh battery.

Speculation: a price near Rs 1 lakh, which Motorola has not confirmed.

Unknown: the launch date, which may be clearer by November according to one report.

The confirmation came at India Mobile Congress 2026 in Delhi, where Motorola showed the phone, according to The Mobile Indian and Gizmochina.

Motorola India’s marketing head, Shivam Ranjan, announced the India launch at the event, according to the reports.

The phone was first announced at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit last month, and India will get it alongside its global debut, according to the reports.

Motorola has not announced an India launch date or an official price, according to The Mobile Indian and Techgenyz.

The Mobile Indian says more availability details may come by November, going by the Motorola India website, but this is only a possibility.

Price estimates close to Rs 1 lakh have been reported, but these are speculation and not an official figure.

Some outlets said Motorola launched the phone at the event, while others say it was only showcased, so the launch itself is not yet complete.

The phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, according to The Mobile Indian.

It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage, according to the same report.

The display is 6.8 inches, with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, according to The Mobile Indian.

The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 sensor, paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, according to the reports.

The spec table in The Mobile Indian also lists a second 50MP rear camera and a 50MP front camera.
