Times Release aims to get every fact right. When we make a mistake, we correct it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email support@timesrelease.com with the subject line “Correction” and include:
- the link to the article;
- what you believe is wrong; and
- the correct information, with a source or document if you have one.
We review every correction request, usually within two working days.
How we correct mistakes
- Factual errors that affect the meaning of a story (for example a wrong name, figure, date, quote or claim) are corrected in the article, and a note is added at the end explaining what was changed and when.
- Minor errors such as spelling, grammar or formatting mistakes that do not change the meaning are fixed without a note.
- Updates: when a developing story changes because of new information, we update the article and say that it has been updated.
- Serious errors: if a story is found to be fundamentally wrong, we may remove it and publish an explanation.
Right of reply
If you are named in one of our stories and believe it is unfair or inaccurate, you can send us your response. We will review it and, where appropriate, add your response to the article.
Partner content
Corrections to sponsored or partner content are handled with the sponsor. Factual errors will still be corrected.
Not satisfied?
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise a formal complaint through our Grievance Redressal process.
