Parts of Bengaluru are facing a scheduled power cut today, July 26, between 10 am and 5 pm, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company carries out maintenance work.
The outage affects New KHB Colony, Bande Mutt, Sachidananda Nagar and Hoysala Circle, as well as layouts fed by the Tavarekere and Byadarahalli substations.
BESCOM teams are using the window to strengthen power lines and replace switchgear equipment in the affected areas.
Residents can check live outage status through the BESCOM Mithra app or by dialling the 1912 helpline.
BESCOM regularly schedules such maintenance-related outages across different parts of the city to keep the power infrastructure in working order.
