Asian Paints has announced a final dividend of ₹23 per equity share. This is for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The decision will be approved at the 80th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Record Date and Total Dividend Details
The record date to determine eligible shareholders is set for June 23, 2026. Shareholders need to hold shares by this date to receive the dividend.
If approved, payments will start on or after July 13, 2026. Including an interim dividend paid in November 2025, the total dividend for FY26 is ₹27.50 per share.
This substantial payout shows Asian Paints’ strong financial health and commitment to rewarding investors.
Strong Financial Performance in Q4 FY26
Asian Paints reported robust financial performance in Q4 FY26. Net profit increased by an impressive 69.4% to ₹1,172 crore from last year’s ₹692 crore.
Revenue also grew by 10.6%, reaching ₹9,247 crore compared to the previous year’s ₹8,359 crore.
EBITDA saw a rise of 24.4%, amounting to ₹1,787 crore from ₹1,436 crore previously.
The EBITDA margin improved significantly from 17.2% to 19.3%. Other income rose as well—up from ₹100 crore last year to ₹171 crore now.
This performance exceeded market estimates across all key metrics: profits were above expected figures of around ₹1,055 crore; revenue surpassed expectations of about ₹8,781 crore; and EBITDA outdid projected numbers of approximately ₹1,575 crore with a better-than-expected margin too.
