Sreelakshmi S Nair is a kerala born writer with a heart full of stories and a deep love for the written word. Her journey as a writer began in her school days, where she started publishing poems and articles in newspapers and school magazines. Since then, her pen hasn’t rested. She has been featured in three anthologies and continues to grow through each word she writes and each book she reads.

Books have always been her closest friends. Her earliest memory of reading is of the classic Heidi, a story that opened up a world of wonder and warmth. Since then, reading has not only been a hobby but a way of life—offering comfort, inspiration, and strength in all seasons. Whether it’s an emotional memoir, a heartfelt poem, or a story of healing, she finds joy in words that connect deeply with human emotions.

Sreelakshmi believes that writing doesn’t have to be loud to leave an impact. In fact, she finds beauty in simplicity—writing that feels like a quiet breeze, yet touches the soul. Her poems often reflect themes of healing, love, nature, loss, and resilience. She enjoys writing pieces that feel human and relatable, bringing to light the silent strength people carry within themselves.

Her writing style is gentle and real, inspired by moments from life, fleeting feelings, and everyday observations. She loves the sea, finds magic in solitude, and often turns to nature for inspiration. Many of her poems are born from her quiet reflections by the shore or the stillness of early mornings.

Although she comes from a strong academic and scientific background, Sreelakshmi’s identity as a writer comes from a far more personal place—her heart. She doesn’t write to impress; she writes to express. She writes for the girl who feels too much, the reader who seeks peace in words, and for herself—to understand, to heal, and to remember.

She also enjoys reviewing both Malayalam and English books, bringing her unique perspective and thoughtful observations to each read. Her reviews are not just about the plot or the prose, but about how a book makes her feel—and that feeling is what she shares with others.

Sreelakshmi continues to write not just as an author, but as a fellow traveler through life’s many ups and downs. She hopes that her words will reach those who need them—like a quiet friend sitting beside you on a rainy day.
