Dr Yashwant Gade and Dr Anupam Takalkar elected to state IMA posts

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar doctors earn recognition at the state and national level

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar doctors Dr Anupam Takalkar and Dr Yashwant Gade have secured important positions in the Indian Medical Association. Their election has created a positive response in the local medical community.

The IMA Maharashtra State body’s installation ceremony took place in Solapur. Solapur Municipal Commissioner Dr Sachin Ombase attended as the chief guest. Former JJ Hospital Dean Dr Sudhir Nanadkar, IMA National Vice President Dr Housie Kapadia, National Joint Secretary Dr Vasant Lunge, former state president Dr Santosh Kadam, former secretary Dr Anil Awhad and president elect Dr Manjusha Giri, past president Dr YS Deshpande, Dr Jayesh Lele, Dr Ravindra Kute, Dr Rajeev Agrawal, Dr Sanjay Kadam, Dr Shivkumar Utture, Dr Milind Nayak, Dr Ashok Tambe, Dr Nisar Shaikh, Dr Yogesh Lakkas were present. The event included the announcement of the new state office bearers.

Dr Anupam Takalkar has been elected as the Joint Secretary of IMA Maharashtra State for the 2025 to 2026 term. He has also been selected as a Central Working Committee member at IMA HQ.

He said that the responsibilities motivate him to work with clarity and purpose. He added that he will focus on decisions that support members and improve the functioning of the organisation. He thanked all colleagues for their trust and support.

Dr Yashwant Gade has been elected as an Election Commission member and also as a Central Working Committee member. He said that he will carry out his duties with honesty and fairness.

City based doctor Rajendra Gandhi has also been elected as a Central Working Committee member.
